Fifty percent of Joy 88's programming is music. The station plays a variety of music including contemporary Christian, inspiration, and praise and worship. Joy 88 also airs Gospel in Song and Word Saturday afternoon at 4:00 featuring the best in southern gospel music. Anthony Barber plays recent and classic black gospel music every Sunday afternoon at 4:00 on Gospel Joy. And we have an Hispanic Ministry with Joel Martinez Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00. The Youth Ministry of Joy 88, Joy 88 Fired Up! features the best in Christian Rock and Alternative Music formats Saturday nights from 8:30 to 11:00 PM.

News
Joy 88 airs national and international news through the USA Radio Network at 55 minutes past every hour. In 2006, Joy 88 will be expanding to include local news as well as interviews on Tuesday and Thursday mornings regarding local events and activities.
